Devlog #5: Mission Select Menu

It’s been a month since my last update on the project. I apologize for the delay, as I had to deal with some work and tech issues that slowed me down. But I’m happy to report that I’ve made some progress on the mission selection menu using Pixso (a tool similar to Figma). This is just a rough prototype, so don’t expect everything to be final or polished. However, I think it gives a good idea of the overall vision I have for the game.

The design style of the menu is inspired by the 80s/90s era of computer graphics, when things were simpler and less refined. I still have a lot of tweaking to do, but I’m pleased with the foundation I’ve built for this prototype.

The game will take you to different regions of the world, where you will join a global taskforce to eliminate the anomalies that threaten humanity. The regions I’m planning to include are North America, Europe and Japan. I haven’t decided on the details of the story yet, but I hope to eventually cover all regions and showcase their diverse cultures in my level design. I can’t wait to share more of my work with you in the future!
